"O sol, cansado de um dia intenso, vai descansar calmamente sobre a linha do horizonte. Exausto na sua batalha quotidiana, cede lugar à noite, reino mágico e obscuro, onde a Lua, rainha, o substituirá magistralmente.O céu enche-se de um laranja avermelhado, como se ali tivesse tido lugar uma batalha sangrenta, a batalha do dia-a-dia, em que o sobrevivente, ferido, se retira para voltar num outro dia, recuperado para rasgar as trevas e começar de novo. Encontro-me num lugar privilegiado, a contemplar estas mutações que, de tão frequentes, muitas vezes acontecem sem que nos apercebamos da sua beleza, como quase tudo o que nos rodeia. Há tanta coisa bela nos fenómenos naturais, que acontecem a cada segundo e nem olhamos para eles, porque de tão frequentes, se tornaram “invisíveis”. Não sabemos o que perdemos por não contemplar as pequenas coisas de que o nosso mundo é feito. A beleza, está nas coisas pequenas e simples, como a gota de orvalho que pende da folha de uma flor, e que na sua queda ao abismo, converte a luz do sol, num arco-íris de cores. A beleza de hoje, está neste fantástico pôr-do-sol, que me enche os olhos, que me acarinha e conforta a alma, por saber que amanhã, aquele sol estará de novo de volta para me aquecer o corpo e iluminar o espírito."
